A sweet little sgraffito-illustrated mini pourer jug. 
 
After throwing these little pourers from Porcelain, the illustration is carved, through a layer of black slip, to reveal the white clay surface beneath, using a method called 'sgraffito'. The style is reminiscent of linocut graphical work and inspired by Scandinavian folk art. Each little jug is slightly different as I individually carve each one with a botanical foreground that flows around the base.
